Phone Call

You may have noticed I removed the counter clock from the top of the blog, the one counting the days since I have seen or talked to the kids.

That is because last night, I finally got to hear their voices and talked with all of them on the phone. They sound so little and innocent on the phone! When I hear their voices in person, they are usually tackling their daddy or charging down the hall just before a flying leap onto Gary, who transforms himself into a living target by sitting on the floor, or else they are huddled in whispers and barely contained laughter, which means that I am the next intended target. (Gary usually leads those huddles, by the way.)

It was so good to talk with them. And that’s really all I have to say today 🙂
