My stars are not much better. I think we are 2-4 with one being an OT loss. You can’t win when you goalie lets 5 goals in a game. UGH!

I have Smitty on my fantasy hockey team. I have Turco too. *taking deep breath* Smitty’s write-up on ESPN fantasy is that…well, the only thing he’s not doing is scoring. He cant do it all by himself. While this may not be of much, if any, relief to you…they do go on to say that the Bolts are having a rough start but things will look up. The netminding is stronger this year. They have added some new players… u know what? You’ve heard all this. The Stars have been using up all their suck points lately too. I hate it. It kills me that Smitty is on a team that… gosh, how do I say this gently… has no playoff potential. He really is good, I promise. I’d take him back here in Dallas in a nano-second. We dumped that hack Holmqvist like..the instant we were able to do so. And Kolzig…he’s good too. I L-O-V-E it that he is BACKING UP my lil Smitty. *tearing up* Our Smitty is a starter now…and has Olaf fucking Kolzig as a BACKUP. Surreal. Pity they are in Tampa. hahhaha Sorry. U know I say that with hockey love. 🙂
oh and might I just take this moment to mention that before the Stars won against the NYR, The Girl Child had a better SV% than Marty Turco? Can I just say that one quick time here? 🙂 Sure, she’s only played one game so far…and they lost… she basically got lit up because she had NO DEFENSIVE SUPPORT WHATSOEVER but her SV% for the game was 0.774 and at one point Turco’s dropped to like the mid to low 70s. That is major OUCHIE for a NHL netminder. She’s a 10yo playing in the 11-12yo division. Just sayin 🙂 Do you detect a little frustration? I gotta blog about the first game cuz… its gonna be a LONG season. thanks for letting me vent 🙂

wait, how are the owners of the Bolts connected to such a gem like ‘Saw V’????? and umm…. the Stars used up a whole slew of suck points tonight against the Devils…..to the tune of a 5-0 loss. I guess it gets Brodeur one step closer to dethroning Patrick Roy on the wins record but damn, we played like SHIT. It was painful. 😦

OMG are you serious? I had no idea. Is that what that shit is on Smitty’s helmet? Cuz normally – and ya might want to sit down for this one – he has a disembodied Garth Brooks head on his helmet somewhere cuz he’s a big ole Garth fan. I know, I know…. I howled like a loon when I first realized what it was so feel free to make fun but the big ole curly headed goof was so good here, I didnt care 🙂 Plus, we know goalies are “special” people anyway haha
