Some of the best things ever are:
Peanut butter cups. Great, now I have a craving. Good thing it’s Halloween, and there’s candy stashed all over the office.
Cats. Goes without saying. I adore my furry children, attitude and all.
Chilly mornings. I love waking up and stepping outside to a cool morning. (Notice I said cool, not bone-numbingly cold!)
Snuggling under a blanket, leaning against Gary to watch hockey games. Soon.
Getting a real letter or card in the mail. I’m so used to e-mail, just getting an old-fashioned, hand-written letter or card is so touching.
Finding a great deal. I’m not big on shopping, but when I do, I love the feeling of getting something at a kickass price. I usually call my mom, a certified shopping goddess, and brag about it!
Finding that perfect, they’re-going-to-LOVE-it gift. I put a lot of thought into buying gifts, and I love when I hit bull’s eye.
Books. I finish every book, even if I hate it. Luckily I rarely choose one I don’t like.
Laughing. I love the sound of Gary’s laugh, and the sound of the kids and Gary laughing together; if that combination is together in the same room, chances are good I will be laughing soon too.
I adore comforting things, like the warmth of the heater, or a blanket, or the soothing purr of one of my cats curled up on my lap, or a sunbeam…maybe I am part cat!
Sushi. I never thought I’d say “Eel is delicious” until I started eating sushi.
Catalogs. Now, online or catalog shopping I can get into. I just can’t stand Walmart, the mall, crowded parking lots, etc.
Now, some of the worst things ever are:
Having to get out of a warm, snuggly bed when it’s cold outside
Stupid, selfish people. I deal with waaaaaay too many of these to have any tolerance left!
Bills. How do they multiply like that?
Drama. Refer to “Stupid, selfish people”.
No peanut butter cups left in the building!
